Staff said the funding package requires additional workload analysis and statutory review and could take longer to complete.
For planning purposes the board’s materials listed projected dates for the first continuing competency package with a projected board adoption in December 2025, a projected public notice in March 2026 and an Office of Administrative Law review scheduled for September 2026. Staff described the dates as projected and said timelines can change depending on workload and external reviews.
Adoption of the rulemaking calendar is a required annual step that informs the Office of Administrative Law about anticipated regulatory workload. Board members did not amend the timeline during the meeting; the motion to adopt passed unanimously among the four members present.
