Board approves consent items: resignations, elections and administrative hire

At the conclusion of its Dec. 16 special meeting, the Goose Creek CISD Board of Trustees approved consent items that included resignations, retirements and presented elections and confirmed an administrative personnel appointment.
Trustees moved to approve the consent agenda items (elections, resignations and retirements) and voted unanimously. The board then approved the administration’s recommendation to hire Catherine Ward as an educational technology specialist; the motion to approve Ward’s appointment was moved by Mr. Clemens and seconded by Miss Guy and passed unanimously.
The board recorded the consent votes as unanimous; district staff processed the personnel approvals as part of the meeting’s consent agenda.
