Commissioners announced Feb. 6 that the Kanarraville Town Council will vote next week on a culinary water master plan update and a purchasing plan update.
During the planning and zoning meeting, an official noted those items will be on next week's town board agenda. The commission also announced a schedule of work meetings from February through June to prepare for the town's May budget process; topics likely to be discussed in those meetings include possible increases to culinary water rates and property tax changes.
Officials encouraged residents to review notices included with water bills and to attend the work meetings and the council meeting if they wish to hear details or comment before the council votes. The commission indicated that the council will take formal votes on the master plan and purchasing plan at its upcoming meeting.
