FRANKLIN COUNTY, Feb. 5 — The Franklin County Commission approved a consent agenda totaling $399,152.22, authorized an annual maintenance contract for county emergency medical equipment and named an alternate to a regional transportation/authority board during its Feb. 5 meeting.

County staff presented an annual extended-warranty and preventative-maintenance contract for ZOLL equipment used by county emergency medical services. Christie, a county staff member, said the 2025 contract covers the county's two ZOLL transport ventilators and seven monitor-defibrillators, and includes on-call servicing, calibration, and a loaner-monitor policy to prevent service downtime.
