Board approves over-the-counter tax-deed sale for parcel 10626158

The Graham County Board of Supervisors approved an over-the-counter tax-deed sale for parcel number 10626158 during the Feb. 3 meeting.
Treasurer Cindy Orr presented the offer and said it met the minimum required to cover accrued taxes, fees and interest. "This offer does meet the minimum required to cover the taxes and fees, and interest that have accrued," Orr said.
A supervisor moved to approve the sale and a second was recorded. The board approved the motion by voice vote.
The county did not discuss buyer identity or the property’s use in detail during the public meeting. The clerk’s office will complete the deed-transfer steps per county procedure.
