Graham County approves out-of-state travel for three county attorney staff to PBK training in St. Louis

The Graham County Board of Supervisors approved out-of-state travel Feb. 3 so three county attorney employees can attend a PBK training in St. Louis.
County Attorney Scott Bennett described PBK as the prosecutor case-management system the office uses. "PBK ... is our case management system that allows us basically to run our office," Bennett told the board. He said the training covers different tracks so each attendee can specialize and then return to train colleagues.
Bennett identified the three employees proposed to attend as Rob Standich (an attorney), Heather Jacobs (office manager) and Destiny Taylor (victim advocate). He said the request had been budgeted in the county attorney's office and that typical travel costs would cover airfare, registration, lodging, and per diem. Bennett said staff had estimated travel costs conservatively and might purchase direct flights to reduce overnight lodging.
A motion to approve the out-of-state travel passed by voice vote with no roll-call recorded.
