Votes at a glance: consent items approved; trustees approved executive session and later returned with no action

The Durant Industrial Authority recorded two formal votes during the Jan. 7 meeting: approval of consent items and a motion to enter executive session.

Consent items: Trustees moved to approve corrected minutes from the Oct. 1, 2024 meeting, the proposed 2025 meeting schedule, and consideration and approval for Dec. 13 (consent items A, B and C). The motion carried by the trustees present. Roll call at the start of the meeting showed a quorum with the following trustees present: Trustee DeWalt, Trustee Rudolph, Trustee Kuykendahl, Vice Chairman Newsom and Chairman Rogers. Trustee Similev McHugh and Trustee Tucker were not present at roll call.

Executive session: Trustees moved, seconded and voted to enter executive session to discuss the listed executive-session agenda items (4A–4D). The board voted to enter executive session and later voted to return from executive session. Trustees announced there was no action taken on Item 4 after returning to open session.

No ordinances, resolutions or contract awards were adopted at the Jan. 7 meeting. No individual motions listed as separate agenda ordinances or resolutions were introduced or adopted beyond the consent approval and the executive session vote.
