Senate approves SB 1465, S.D. 1, on third reading; adopts multiple committee reports

The Senate approved SB 1465, S.D. 1, on third reading during a floor session at the State Capitol, the presiding officer announced. The clerk reported 22 senators present with three excused; the measure passed on third reading by unanimous consent.

The passage came amid a brief procedural session in which Senators also moved to adopt standing committee reports. Senator Wakai moved for adoption of standing committee reports numbers 675–678 and 689–698; Senator DeCoite seconded the motion and the chair declared the motion carried after the chamber indicated no objections.

In a separate procedural action, the Senate ordered standing committee reports numbers 679–684 to be placed on the calendar for one-day notice. The chair noted the referrals and re-referrals were to be made in accordance with the supplement orders of the day.

Senator Wakai moved that the Senate adjourn until 11:30 a.m. the following day; Senator DeCoite seconded the motion and the Senate adjourned by unanimous consent.
