Village of Clemmons hears update on transportation plan; consultants aim for June 2025 adoption

On Dec. 9, 2024, the Village of Clemmons Council received a presentation on the village transportation plan from Nat Haywood, a consultant with Kimley‑Horn, who said the firm expects to seek formal plan adoption in June 2025.

The plan, Haywood told the council, is intended to create a shared community vision and to provide “investment guidance” and an “actionable” set of strategies so the village can prioritize and implement transportation projects and policies. He said the process is largely grant‑funded and described three phases: visioning and needs, technical analysis and recommendation development, and final documentation for adoption.
