County discusses potential purchase of Clock Tower building for Northwest Colorado Innovation Center

Redmond said the building could host a mix of tenants, including state workforce offices (the state would prefer to be a tenant rather than owner), the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) workforce training. She said the county and partner counties are developing a board for the center that would include government seats and private sector representatives.
Redmond said Moffat County expressed enthusiasm because the building is not on local tax rolls and a state tenant could provide long‑term occupancy. She said programming could begin within months, but remodeling would be required to adapt the building for multiple tenants.
