The Metropolitan Council on Jan. 8 approved business item 2025-17, appointing members and alternates to the Transportation Advisory Board (TAB).

Chair Barber reported that Executive Director Charles Carlson and Barber interviewed candidates and that many appointees are returning members. “We do have a couple of additional still open vacancies for alternates for District E and for District H, but we're also able to fill an additional alternate vacancy for District B,” Barber said.

Council members thanked applicants and noted the time commitment required of citizen representatives on TAB. Council Member Johnson seconded the motion to approve the appointments and the council adopted the item by voice vote.
