The Marion County Board of Commissioners approved its consent calendar Jan. 8, reappointing three members to the Marion County Fair Board and authorizing an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with the Oregon Department of Transportation for right-of-way services on a replacement project.
Commissioner Cameron moved approval of the consent calendar, which included orders reappointing Dana Castro, Amy Coulter Allen and Shannon Goebbels to the Marion County Fair Board with terms ending Dec. 31, 2027, and a public-works item approving an IGA with the Oregon Department of Transportation for right-of-way services through Sept. 30, 2026. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
During discussion, Commissioner Cameron asked whether the county treasurer was present to comment on a Scotts Mills item; the treasurer was not present, and Cameron proceeded to approve the consent items. The board recorded no objections during the vote.
