Presenters told the council the city's existing solar portfolio (installed in 2016'17) had exceeded production forecasts and that the new installations ' El Gabilan Library rooftop (about 100 kW) and police department parking-canopy solar (about 610 kW) ' plus a backup generator for critical IT and limited HVAC/lighting would cost about $4.77 million.
