"I found out in looking back at the documents that the demand letter had not been sent out. So, therefore, I couldn't put it on the calendar, but now it has," a county attorney said. Another official asked whether the $18,000 figure related to assessed value; a staff member replied it was "like, a thousand dollars more than the assessed value."
The county attorney said he had prepared verbiage for the required public notice and would send it to staff member Lorinda for posting and noticing. "So, yes, I'll just I'll send it to you, Beautiful," the attorney said about sending notice language to Lorinda.
No final action was taken during the meeting; staff said they will deliver the notice and place the item on a future calendar once noticing is complete.
