Commission extends Coleman View Estates plat to Aug. 15, 2025; developer says buildout under way

The Riverdale City Planning Commission unanimously voted on Jan. 28 to grant Goldcrest Homes a six-month extension to Aug. 15, 2025 for subdivision plat approval for Coleman View Estates, at approximately 5368 South 1050 West.
Planning staff reported that the original plat had been approved Aug. 15, 2023, and that the project had previously received one extension to Feb. 15, 2025. Staff told commissioners that bonding requirements have been met for the improvements the city requires, phases 1 and 2 of the project are largely installed and recorded, and home construction is underway.
