Developer says King's Landing PSA nearly final; site-plan reviews on schedule for September

Ware told the commission he and the development team have completed a set of legal and design discussions and that owners and their attorneys are finishing a small number of outstanding PSA items. He said Marriott is continuing its application process for the on-site hotel; owners have asked Marriott to refresh the term sheet while final site plans are being completed.
From a schedule standpoint, Ware said the development team expects to submit final site-plan modifications by May. City staff estimated a 90-to-120-day review window once the materials were submitted, which puts a likely administrative review and potential commission action in September, Ware said. Planning Director Kev Freeman told commissioners the city is prepared to expedite pre-application meetings and suggested early coordination across departments and the FPUA to reduce review cycles.
Commissioners thanked Ware and asked staff to keep the commission informed when the PSA is executed; the record shows the commission sought a formal notice when that step is complete so the third amendment and related items could be calendared.
