The Department of Public Works asked the council to adopt a correcting resolution to update prior language about the conveyance of property and easements to the State Highway Administration for the Route 108/Centennial Road improvement project.
Jeremy Zeller said the State Highway Administration will transfer approximately 1.01 acres of land to the county as part of the project; the county will convey certain real property and easements to SHA for the improvement work. Zeller said the parcel to be conveyed to the county is valued at $285,000 and the property conveyed by the county to the state is valued at $116,423.25, and that no additional monetary consideration will be paid to the county by the state. DPW testified the county will be made "more than whole" by acceptance of the unimproved parcel, which will become part of Centennial Park.
The staff asked the council to adopt CR115-2025 to correct the earlier resolution; no final vote took place at the hearing.
