The Plan Commission unanimously recommended Village Board approval of the final plat for Fox River Falls Addition No. 2, a proposed single-family subdivision on roughly 12.9 acres west of Glen Road and north of Silver Spring Road.
Planner Amy Bennett said the final plat proposes 23 single-family lots ranging from about 12,000 to 19,141 square feet, with an average lot size just under 15,000 square feet (1.8 dwelling units per acre). Staff said the final plat is substantially consistent with the conditionally approved preliminary plat and with the village's comprehensive plan.
Staff recommended approval subject to the 14 staff conditions included in the staff report, the nine conditions from Waukesha County and any changes required by the Wisconsin Department of Administration. Engineering staff updated a grading-related condition earlier in the day and the revised language was provided to the applicant, Bennett said.
Commissioners who reviewed the plat commented positively on the design and noted the grading work on the first phase is substantially complete; the commission voted to recommend approval by the Village Board.
Ending: The matter will proceed to the Village Board with recommended conditions from staff and Waukesha County.
