Council honors Grant High Pacers after state championship

“When they're state champs, they're great football players. They're great people. They are great students,” Council member Lisa Dickinson said, adding that the team averaged a 3.3 grade-point average.
Coach Reid (identified in the meeting as the co-head coach) thanked the council and described the playoff run and travel demands. “These young men put all the work in. I mean we're just the ones who put them in the position.
