Local counselor group asks Spring ISD to consider MAP Counseling for Medicaid reimbursement services RFP

"We house all of our services in the schools, home, and in an office. We take all Medicaid," Langford said. "We do pro bono services, as well as private insurance," Langford said, adding that MAP Counseling offers transportation to appointments when necessary and works to include family goals in treatment plans.
Langford told trustees the agency hopes to serve students across elementary through high school and the district’s early college programs, and she said her organization aims to address barriers — such as lack of insurance or transportation — that might prevent students from receiving mental health services.
The board did not respond during the agenda-participation period; the superintendent and staff will consider public input when evaluating agenda items, per the board’s public-comment instructions shown at the meeting.
