The committee received and recommended to the full board an amendment to the intergovernmental agreement with Harrison Township for regional emergency dispatch services.
Angela Elsey, the county’s dispatch director, told commissioners the amendment adjusts Harrison Township’s contribution for shared technology maintenance costs (including records management and computer-aided dispatch systems provided by Tyler Technologies) after the township migrated portions of its systems to cloud-based solutions. Elsey said the change reduces Harrison Township’s total maintenance contribution by roughly $64,000 over the three-year contract term; the amendment amount presented to the committee was $58,757.
Elsey said Harrison Township has reviewed and signed the intergovernmental agreement amendment. The committee voted 12–0 to recommend the amendment to the full board.
