Staff said the fleet-conversion plan was approved by council, that scopes for EV and education/outreach studies will be circulated, and invited board members to a Feb. 13 trip to Albuquerque to view a municipal building-energy-management system that monitors energy, water and gas use in real time. Angelica said the Albuquerque system has produced measurable facility-energy savings and that Los Alamos staff are interested in a similar technology.
