Mount Pleasant resident raises compliance, odor and waste concerns about planned agricultural operations at 8925 Old Spring Street

Rich Henderko, a Mount Pleasant resident who said he lives at 9045 Old Spring Street, used the public-comment period at a Village Board meeting to seek information and raise concerns about planned agricultural operations at 8925 Old Spring Street. He asked who would be held responsible for compliance — the property owner or a lessee he identified as "Mister Onan" — and described visible conditions that worry neighbors, including signage he called "the equivalent of a spite fence," at least four goats and three horses, a recently constructed pond and the potential for pigs and associated waste.
