Legislator Barca (Abarca) said the developer had reportedly offered concessions—easements and other assistance to planning and public works—but wanted staff confirmation of those offers.
The motion on the floor became a motion to hold the matter. The Legislature voted to hold the rezoning 7–2 (7 yes, 2 no), with the clerk recording the tally as "7 yes to 2 no." The item will remain pending and the file has related uploaded documents for review, according to the clerk.
No other action (no adoption or defeat) occurred on the rezoning item at the meeting; staff follow-up and confirmation with planning and public-works staff were requested by legislators.
