The Kenai Peninsula Borough Plat Committee did not act on Pioneer Vistas Units No. 6 (Young Subdivision, KPB file 2025-135) on Oct. 27 after staff said the City of Homer must first review the plat’s legal descriptions and a proposed public-use easement.

Staff advised the committee that further review by the city is required before the borough can consider the plat. As a result, staff postponed the item and said members of the public could comment but that no committee action would be taken at this meeting. No public commenters addressed the matter during the meeting.

The postponement leaves the plat pending until the City of Homer completes its review; staff indicated the item will return to the committee for action once that review is complete.
