ST. MARY'S COUNTY, Md. — At the Aug. 29 meeting of the St. Mary’s County Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP) board, the plan administrator reported one administrative payment for the quarter and the first quarterly contribution for the new fiscal year, and the board accepted the report.
Plan administrator Joy Sapp reported a single administrative quarterly payment for March–May in the amount shown in the packet (recorded as $1,002.46) and stated the first quarterly contribution for the new fiscal year had been deposited on Aug. 19. Sapp also cited the board’s 2026 budgeted contribution figure as presented in the packet; the packet contained the budgeted contribution amount and noted the change to the health‑insurance contribution from 15% to 10%.
Sapp told the board the next LOSAP meeting is scheduled for Oct. 24, 2025. A motion to accept the plan administrator report was made and carried by voice vote; the transcript does not provide a roll‑call tally.
Why it matters
The plan administrator’s report records the trust’s recent cash flows and the timing of county contributions that support ongoing benefit payments. The board’s acceptance of the report places those figures into the official minutes and triggers any follow‑up actions identified by staff.
