The consent agenda items approved included: approval of the May 27, 2025 meeting minutes; resolution to display the Juneteenth flag outside City Hall beginning June 16; recognition of June 19, 2025 as Juneteenth National Freedom Day; mutual aid agreement for Southeastern Oakland County Public Works Association member communities; special event permits for the Harvest Walk (Sept. 27, 2025) and Heroes and Dreams (monthly June–October 2025); approval for basketball court installation at Wilson Park by Ajax Paving Industrial through the local paving program ($78,143.01); renewal dues to the Michigan Municipal League ($10,449); appointment of representatives to SACRA board of trustees; appointments and reappointments to city boards and commissions; scheduling a public hearing to vacate an alley for the July 14, 2025 council meeting; purchase of a 2025 Ford E-Transit cargo van ($56,100); GOVOS software renewal ($9,243.15); payment to Nova Consultants for solar photovoltaic maintenance ($9,945); approval of bills and payrolls subject to finance review; and approval of summer 2025 special assessments.
