Friends of Redondo Beach Arts presented a post‑event report to the council on the Reimagined Poetry Invitational, an invitational exhibition on Pier Plaza that ran last month.
Organizer Nina Zakladden said the show featured 58 invited artists from four states and 23 cities, with 13 artists living in Redondo Beach. The exhibition used five Pier Plaza spaces transformed into gallery units and included 12 site‑specific installations. Zakladden said social media promotion produced about 8,777 views and 500 interactions, and restaurant and retail merchants on the pier reported increased patronage on days the exhibition was open.
City staff accepted the presentation for the record; no council action was required.
