Fire Chief Ray Isom announced at the City Council meeting on May 27 that the Anna Fire Department has taken delivery of a new special‑rescue vehicle (SRV), an EMS‑capable all‑terrain vehicle intended for use at large events, on the city’s developing trail system and for rescue and recovery missions.
Chief Isom said the vehicle will appear at upcoming large events and thanked council and the community for their support in acquiring the equipment. He described the SRV as a much‑needed addition for special events and trail response.
