Budishevsky said the process has been simplified this year and that the application portal and marketing are ready; staff planned a three‑week application window beginning Feb. 17 and said prior applicants and a standing contact list had been notified.
Commissioners moved and seconded approval; the motion carried on voice vote without recorded opposition. Several commissioners praised Budishevsky’s outreach and the streamlined process. Staff said marketing would use email and text messaging to notify prior applicants and the county’s communication channels.
The board requested staff follow the revised criteria and return with recommended awards and any administrative follow‑up needed for contract or grant administration.
