Dublin economic development division earns international AEDO reaccreditation, city says

Dublin’s economic development division received reaccreditation from the Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO), City Manager Megan O’Callaghan and Economic Development Director Jeremiah told council on Feb. 3.
O’Callaghan said AEDO reaccreditation is reviewed every three years through documentation and a two‑day site visit; Dublin is one of 85 AEDOs internationally and, as presented, the only AEDO‑accredited economic development organization in Ohio. Director Jeremiah thanked staff members who led the application and site‑visit process and extended recognition to other city departments — planning, transportation and mobility, engineering, communications, marketing and the police — for supporting the reviewers’ evaluation.
The city said reviewers were impressed by Dublin’s practices and programs and that the accreditation affirms the division’s work to support business recruitment and retention. Director Jeremiah introduced team members and noted new staff arriving on the economic development team. Mayor Ambrose Grooms and councilmembers congratulated the division for the award.
City staff said they will continue work with interdepartmental and regional partners to advance Dublin’s business‑development goals.
