I've talked to her several times, and I reaffirmed with her last week when she was there that if she was willing to serve,” one commissioner said.
The board made the appointment by motion and voice vote. Commissioners noted Tilly was not present at the meeting and will be required to give acceptance at the next Midas meeting; no additional duties or county expenditures were assigned at the time of appointment.
