- Manhole rehabilitation services (Insta Institute Forum Technologies): Council approved an estimated $225,000 agreement for manhole rehabilitation using BuyBoard cooperative purchasing methods. Vote: 7-0 (consent). Staff said the work reduces inflow-and-infiltration into the wastewater system and extends manhole life.
- Motorola radio maintenance amendment: Council approved an amendment to the existing Motorola radio-site maintenance agreement adding virtualized and geo-redundant prime-site coverage at a cost of $130,296.58. Staff said the funds were budgeted and reallocated from participating agencies; vote: 7-0 (consent).
- Termination of public-road development agreement (VB Jones Road; KDC/Midlothian Development Authority): Council authorized the termination so the city can finish remaining items with another contractor; MDA will continue to fund project balance. Vote: 7-0.
- Manhard Consulting — parallel water pipeline design: Council authorized professional services with Manhard Consulting for design of a 36-inch parallel raw-water pipeline (phase 1) with a design fee of $161,142.50 plus an allowance of $20,000 (total $181,142.50). Staff said the project will use water impact fees; vote: 7-0.
- Accessory building and roofing at Fire Station 2: Council approved a contract with GLC Roofing Systems for a roughly 3,600-square-foot accessory building behind Fire Station 2, awarding $330,133.98 plus $25,000 contingency for a total of $355,133.98. Vote: 7-0.
- SpaceSaver Storage Systems FF&E for Public Safety and Courts building: Council authorized a purchase of furniture, fixtures and equipment in the amount of $1,213,358 (budgeted); vote: 7-0.
