Committee approves resolution honoring NCSL's 50th anniversary

Senator Pappas told the committee the measure uses the same language that the Senate informally adopted last year and now moves it through the formal legislative process so both chambers can pass it and the governor can sign it. "All this does is create the same language, but it's gonna go through the houses and, both houses, and it's gonna become a resolution, honoring NCSL's 50th anniversary," Pappas said.
There was no public testimony. The motion to move the resolution was made by Senator Anderson and seconded by Senator Pappas. A roll call recorded five ayes and the resolution was reported from committee.
