The transfer is part of the county’s cash-flow practice for roads: county staff said the department operates on reserves for six months and then receives a reimbursement transfer; the second half of the fiscal-year obligation is typically received in early June.
“I'll make that motion to approve resolution TX 202501-20,” said a county official who introduced the item. The board voted by roll call. Commissioners recorded as voting yes were Sandy, Bob, Mike, Rick and Bruce; the chair declared the motion carried.
County staff explained the mechanics of the transfer during budget preparation and said the treasurer’s office actively manages short-term investments until funds are moved. No amendments were made to the resolution.
