Public Works said it has installed forward‑facing cameras on its plow fleet and intends to launch a public map on the county website so residents can see truck locations and recent pavement images. Staff described a roughly 30‑minute delay on live feeds to avoid real‑time interference and said the department hopes to go live about mid‑November. The department noted it runs 10 ten‑wheel plow trucks and additional smaller units.
Commissioners asked for a commission demonstration when the system is ready. No funding request was presented for this item; staff said the project is already in operational use and that a demonstration would be scheduled.
