The Penn-Trafford School District Board of School Directors approved its consent agenda and took personnel actions during the regular meeting on Aug. 11, 2025.
Board President Mr. Neiman opened the meeting and led roll call. The board first approved the consent agenda by voice/roll call after a motion to approve all items under a single motion; the motion carried with all members voting in favor.
Separately, the board approved a motion to authorize fall athletic positions and full-year extracurricular positions. The motion, presented by Dr. Koschka, specified that new employment is contingent on receipt of required clearances from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114) within 30 days and that a copy of extracurricular positions would be included in the meeting minutes. The motion was seconded and approved by roll call with no opposition.
Under personnel and curriculum, the board moved to employ listed personnel, with appointments contingent upon receipt of Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances within 30 days. That motion passed on a roll call vote; one board member announced an abstention during the vote and the motion carried.
The agenda noted the board had met in executive session earlier in the meeting to discuss personnel matters; no other details were disclosed in open session. The meeting record showed no visitors had signed up to speak and there was no old business on the agenda for the night.
