The revised cellphone policy passed 5‑1, with Miss Potter recorded as the lone no vote.
Superintendent and policy staff said the revisions are intended to align district procedures with the recent legislative changes and to clarify disciplinary steps. The board directed staff to implement the updated policies for the coming school year.
