Dorsey said the negotiating parties extended their deadline to Aug. 9 and remained in talks; the resolution urges the parties to renew their contract to preserve members’ access to UCSF Health physicians and services or, if a long-term solution is not possible, to commit to preserving existing services through the remainder of the plan year and provide certainty for the 2026 plan year before open enrollment. Dorsey thanked City Attorney David Chiu’s office for exploring legal options and said he is working with HHS Director Ray Guillén and the San Francisco Health Service Board.
