Spring ISD trustees gather stakeholder input on superintendent search; applications due June 20

SPRING ISD — Trustees and community stakeholders met Monday evening in a facilitated listening session to consolidate public feedback for the district's superintendent search and to set next steps in the hiring timeline.

The session, led by consultant Dr. Rudy Trevino, assembled community members, teachers and district staff to identify the qualities residents want in the next superintendent. Trustee Durant, the board president, closed the meeting with administrative details, saying, “Applications are open until June 20.” She said the first round of interviews will begin the week of June 21, finalist interviews are planned for the week of July 7, and the board hopes to announce finalists thereafter.
