Delegate Valentine moved the delegation forward on Hagerstown Community College's police-force legislation (5LR1062); Delegate Baker seconded the motion and members voiced assent. Delegation leaders said HCC's bill would extend campus officers' authority so they can partner with county law enforcement during emergencies and support the college's new Bowman Center and training activities.
