Sarah Klein, EquiSpace executive director, described the center as an operations hub that helps nonprofits meet standards and reduces the risk of fraud, waste and abuse by centralizing administrative functions.
Senator Housley and other senators praised the model as a way to strengthen nonprofit capacity and cited specific organizations that use EquiSpace. The committee laid Senate File 800 over for possible inclusion.
