The Hooksett Zoning Board of Adjustment scheduled a site walk for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. for a special‑exception application filed as Z24‑32 by Bridal D Holdings LLC (map 14, lot 34‑1). The board said it prefers an on‑site visit before taking public testimony because Article 24 requires the board to determine the appropriate location for projects that require a special exception.
Chair Anne Stomach and board members agreed to invite Planning Board and Conservation Commission staff to the walk so members can review topography, sight lines, and any potential wetland or drainage concerns in the field. The applicant will send a GPS coordinate and meeting instructions to town staff; the board said it will post a public notice and watch the weather and, if necessary, reschedule for the following Saturday.
The board also noted the Planning Board had already issued an October letter finding the site appropriate for the proposed use; still, members said walking the parcel would clarify testimony and make for a more informed public hearing if attendees choose to speak on site observations.
The site‑walk meeting point and any contingency date will be posted by staff; the board said the visit is intended as an informational, non‑testimony inspection to inform the later public hearing on the application.
