At its Jan. 14 meeting, the Hooksett Zoning Board of Adjustment found a potential regional impact from an application filed as Z24‑31 (Chelmsford Properties LLC, 2 College Park Drive) and directed staff to notify neighboring towns and the Southern New Hampshire Regional Planning Commission for their 30‑day review period.
Board members cited transportation concerns and the site’s proximity to municipal borders as the primary reasons for finding a potential regional impact. The board’s motion named Bow, Pembroke and Allenstown and the Southern New Hampshire Regional Planning Commission as recipients of the notice.
The board held a roll call after the motion and the item will remain open while the regional bodies have the statutory response period. The board did not set a subsequent hearing date pending comments from the notified entities, noting the 30‑day review window in state law and local ordinance.
