Commissioners moved and seconded approval of the city manager’s recommendations and carried the package by voice vote. The motion covered multiple calendar items the manager had highlighted; staff said they would proceed with procurement and scheduling steps consistent with the approved recommendations.
One calendar item discussed during the meeting — a vegetation/brush-removal program covering 107 vacant parcels — was identified as not a demolition program but an effort to remove nuisance vegetation and was included in the manager’s package for approval.
