General counsel and staff said the review aims to make governance materials easier for board members, staff and plan members to find and understand on the ISERS website. The board identified the public organization of bylaws and policy documents as a priority area for the project.
New counsel‑level support was introduced during the meeting: David (Dave) [last name not specified in transcript], reported to have recent experience at multiple 37 Act systems and will assist Olsen Rumco (legal firm) with the project and policy drafting.
Board members asked that the website presentation and public accessibility be considered during the rewrite, and staff confirmed those changes are part of the project plan.
