County responders stayed in close contact with state emergency officials and local partners throughout the incident.
Public works crews treated and plowed during the storm period. County staff said crews operated overnight and through the following day, with five trucks in service during the worst period; some vehicle breakdowns occurred but shifts and spares allowed operations to continue. Staff reported that the timing of the storm on a weekend reduced traffic and helped limit incidents. Officials said they remained watchful for additional precipitation later in the week.
