Residents urge review of ES&S voting equipment and mail-ballot counts

Hyde said he supports county election workers and was urging a review of systems and costs associated with the machines.
Bradford Hite, a Sierra Vista resident who spoke later, also urged the board to "take this election machine business seriously" and to prioritize addressing the concern quickly, saying the incoming chair should make the issue a priority.
No board action was taken at the meeting in response to the public comments; the speakers addressed the board during the public-comment period.
