The Keizer City Council completed several procedural actions at the Feb. 3 meeting.
- Consent calendar: Council voted unanimously to approve consent items A (approval of Jan. 6, 2025 regular-session minutes) and C (resolution authorizing the finance director to enter into an agreement with Stone Security for milestone care premium support services). Item 9B (Jan. 18 work session minutes) was pulled for correction and will be considered at a later meeting.
- Remaining agenda and scheduling: The council voted to move remaining agenda items to Feb. 18, 2025, then amended that motion to allow an additional 15 minutes of meeting time to continue work. The council also confirmed upcoming meetings: a goal-setting work session on Feb. 10 at 6 p.m.; the next regular council meeting on Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. (Tuesday, due to the Presidents Day holiday); and a long-range planning task force meeting on Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. The city recorder will coordinate scheduling the joint work session with the Community Diversity Engagement Committee "as soon as possible."
These votes were procedural and routine; none altered city policy beyond authorizing a listed contract in the consent calendar and scheduling future meetings.
