The Historic Preservation Commission discussed logistics and materials for its Tallman Festival booth, including display easels, tables, banners and signage for walking tour brochure sales.
Commission members confirmed there are three full‑size easels and two tabletop easels available and agreed they will need two regular easels and two tabletop displays at the festival. Members said they will supply an additional easel and two tabletop displays; one commissioner offered to bring easels to the festival setup. The commission also discussed replacing or updating printed map pieces and using a Photoshop contact to produce updated files for reproduction.
The commission plans to sell walking tour brochures for $2 and discussed making a sign to indicate the brochure price and, possibly, to state what the proceeds will support. Members asked staff whether the city could produce a sign or whether the commission should create one; they agreed to give the question further thought and to use banners and tablecloths already in the commission’s possession to attract festival visitors.
No formal vote was recorded. Commission members divided responsibilities for photographing existing pieces, producing files for reproduction, and bringing easels, banners and tables to the festival setup.
